Silver Daddies is a weekly sauna social for mature men and their admirers, hosted every Wednesday at Steam Complex in Leeds. The term “silver daddy” refers to an older man — typically with grey or silver hair — who is confident, experienced, and attractive within gay and bisexual culture. This event is built around that identity.
The format blends relaxed socialising with low-pressure cruising inside a full gay sauna environment. It is not a structured party — there is no programme, no dress-up theme, and no performance. You use the venue’s facilities at your own pace, with a crowd that skews older and values easy conversation over intensity.
Open to any man (cis or trans) or non-binary person comfortable in a masculine space. Younger admirers are welcome — there is no minimum age beyond the venue’s standard 18+ policy. This is a regular Wednesday session with its own community, not a one-off special event.

Silver Daddies entry prices are set by Steam Complex. You pay at the door — there are no separate Silver Daddies tickets or booking fees. Steam Complex requires membership, purchased on your first visit.

What to Expect
Silver Daddies runs during Steam Complex’s standard Wednesday hours. All sauna facilities stay open — steam rooms, jacuzzi, pool, adult play areas, private cabins, and cinema room. The difference is the crowd and the midweek atmosphere.
Relaxed dress code
Towels, jocks, underwear or nothing — there is no strict code. Wear whatever you are comfortable in.
All-inclusive entry
Towel, locker, and tea and coffee included with your entry price. Full access to all Steam Complex facilities for the session.
Social over pressure
The atmosphere is relaxed and conversation-led. Cruising happens naturally but the vibe is low-key, not intense. Many regulars attend as much for the company as anything else.
First-timers welcome
Turn up, pay at the door, and staff will show you around. No advance booking needed. Bring photo ID — Steam Complex operates a Challenge 25 policy.
